Team Expenditure

Incoming fees are amortised over the length of the contract the player signed, the way clubs book them: a €10m fee on a five–year deal is a €2m charge in each of five seasons, so this year’s figure carries the still–running share of purchases going back to 2021–22 as well as this summer’s. Wages are Capology’s gross annual figures for the current squad, including bonuses. Outgoing transfers are booked in full in the year of the sale, so net spend is wages plus amortisation minus sales income. Fees and contract lengths come from Transfermarkt, loans and free transfers carry no fee, and amortisation is capped at five years. Values are native euros; other currencies use Capology’s own paired rates.
