Draft your roster

How it works
Each round spins a random franchise and decade (never the same pair twice in one game), and you draft one player from everyone who played there. Every player is rated as a 0–100 percentile of Cap.Space's own metric for his sport (GOATED for the NBA, DAWG for the NFL, DINGR for MLB hitters and bWAR for pitchers, TEKR for soccer), measured over the seasons he spent with that franchise in that decade: 50 is the median qualified player, 99 the best in the league over that window. Team strength is the weighted mean of your slots (NFL: QB 3×, tackles and edge rushers 1.3×, receivers and corners 1.1×; MLB pitchers 1.4×; soccer: keeper 1.3×, strikers and centre-backs 1.1×), minus a weighted penalty for any slot more than 12 points below the roster average. Strength sets a win probability for each game, nudged by home field and opponent. A roster in the 95th percentile everywhere wins more than 95% of its games, so a perfect season is possible but rare.
