Shared rules
- Every number is computed in your browser from the terms you type. Nothing is saved and nothing is written back to the database.
- The new deal is assumed to replace the current contract from its start season onward. Seasons before the start season keep the existing cap hits.
- Verdict tiers are the same ones the trade machines use: within 10% is even, 10–25% is one side ahead, more than 25% is lopsided.
- Rule breaks are shown, never blocked — a red banner names each violation and the deal still computes.
- Money is nominal dollars of the season shown unless a line says otherwise. Projected league limits are labelled PROJ.
